The Karşıyaka Cemetery () is a modern burial ground located at Karşıyaka neighborhood in Yenimahalle district of Ankara Province, Turkey Turkey, officially the Republic of Türkiye, is a country mainly located in Anatolia in West Asia, with a relatively small part called East Thrace in Southeast Europe. Michalis "Iron Mike" Zambidis ( Greek: Μιχάλης Ζαμπίδης; born 15 July 1980) is a professional Greek kickboxer and martial artist. He is an 18-time World Champion, including former World version W5, SUPERKOMBAT and in a series of K-1 Tournaments and Grand Prix Champion. He mostly competed in the K-1 MAX where he scored mostly knockouts. Biography and career Mike Zambidis started training in martial arts before he was nine years old with his brother Spiros Zambidis and his best friend Lazaros Filipas. He has trained in Shotokan Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Sanda and Pankration. He started competing professionally in 2000, scoring a string of victories over notable opponents. Osman Sınav (August 1956 – 20 March 2025) was a Turkish director, producer and screenwriter. Life and career Sınav studied art and also finished courses in textile design, cinema, and television at the Istanbul State Fine Arts Academy. He worked as a copywriter from 1979–1980 and from 1980–1984 at the Grafika Lintas Advertising agency. In 1984, he founded his production company, Sinegraf. In 2012, he received a special degree in cinema and television from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. Sınav died in Istanbul at the age of 68 on 20 March 2025, following a long struggle with cancer. Two days later, he was buried at Karacaahmet Cemetery in Istanbul.
