Alfred Tarski
Alfred Tarski (; ; born Alfred Teitelbaum;School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of St Andrews ''School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of St Andrews''. January 14, 1901 – October 26, 1983) was a Polish-American logician and mathematician. A prolific author best known for his work on model theory, metamathematics, and algebraic logic, he also contributed to abstract algebra, topology, geometry, measure theory, mathematical logic, set theory, type theory, and analytic philosophy. Educated in Poland at the University of Warsaw, and a member of the Lwów–Warsaw school, Lwów–Warsaw school of logic and the Warsaw school of mathematics, he immigrated to the United States in 1939 where he became a naturalized citizen in 1945. Zabaykalsky Krai
Zabaykalsky Krai is a federal subjects of Russia, federal subject of Russia (a krai), located in the Russian Far East. Its administrative center is Chita, Zabaykalsky Krai, Chita. As of the Russian Census (2010), 2010 Census, the population was 1,107,107. The krai was created on 1 March 2008, as a result of a merger of Chita Oblast and Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug after a referendum held on the issue on 11 March 2007. Tarskoye, formerly known as Angusht or Ongusht, is a rural locality (a selo) in Prigorodny District of the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, Russia. Population: Nomenclature The modern name "Tarskoye", is derived from the name of the village Tarshoy-Yurt in the lowland of Ingushetia. The toponym "Angusht" itself is a composition of three Ingush words: ''an'' ("plain") or ''ane'' ("horizon"), ''gush'' ("visible") and the suffix of place - ''tĕ'' (indication of position or location), literally translating as a "place where the plain is seen". History Angusht was built no later than the 17th century and the first report of it was made in 1745 by prince Vakhushti of Kartli who mentioned Angusht as a village located on the river Boragnis-tskali ( Sunzha).
