Aslı Tandoğan (born 2 April 1979) is a Turkish actress and professional harpist. Tandoğan graduated from the Music department of the State Conservatory of Hacettepe University. First, she chose the violin at conservatory for a year, and then chose the harp. Conservatory education started since childhood and continued for 10 years. She later joined Antalya Symphony Orchestra. Her father and aunt are ballet dancers. Her mother is a painter. Nevzat Tandoğan
Abdullah Nevzat Tandoğan (1894 – 9 July 1946) was the fourth mayor and governor of Ankara serving between 1929 and 1946. He committed suicide upon a political scandal he was involved in. Early life and career Abdullah Nevzat was born into a wealthy family in 1894 at Istanbul, then Ottoman Empire. His father was from Sarajevo and his mother from Belgrade. He completed his education in Istanbul Law School, today Istanbul University Faculty of Law. After the Surname Law was enacted in Turkey in 1934, he adopted the family name Tandoğan. He was married, and had two children. During World War I, he served as an intelligence officer in the Ottoman Army in Istanbul. In the later years of the war, he began a career as a school teacher in Istanbul. In 1918, he entered police service. After serving at leading posts in various police departments, he quit. Ragıp Vural Tandoğan (born 1965) is a Turkish long-distance swimmer. He is a former industrial engineer from profession. Personal life Ragıp Vural Tandoğan was born in 1965. After finishing the Kabataş Boys High School in Istanbul in 1982, he studied Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, and graduated in 1986. He worked many years in various companies as an engineer. His high school honored him by naming the teacher's room after him, and decorating the room walls with photos of him and his awards. Sport career Tandoğan started swimming again, which he was interested in at a young age, to lose weight and live a healthier life. With the encouragement of his friends, he participated at international marathon swim competitions. He does some of his swimming trainings for his competitive swims in the pool of his alma mater.
