The Exiles are a group of fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics commonly associated with The X-Men. They feature in three series, '' Exiles'', ''New Exiles'', and ''Exiles'' vol. 2. The Exiles consists of characters from different universes, or realities, which have been removed from time and space in order to correct problems (often called "hiccups") in various alternate worlds and divergent timelines in the Marvel Multiverse. Created by writer Judd Winick and artist Mike McKone, Exiles features a revolving team roster with new characters introduced and others replaced when they are killed or returned to their home reality. The series is notable for the number of characters who stay dead, in contrast to the frequent resurrections that occur in the main Marvel and DC continuities. List Of Exiles Characters
'' Exiles'' and ''New Exiles'' were comic book series which featured an ensemble cast of Marvel Comics characters. ''Exiles'' vol. 1 featured the fictional teams of the eponymous Exiles and rival Weapon X, both of which had a revolving cast, most often rotating under the plot device of character death. The characters were either previous established or new re-imagings of established characters. Founding members Replacements Weapon X, Wolverines, Quentin Quire, and other teams Weapon X was an alternate, more violent team recruited by the Timebroker to deal with more gruesome missions. Marvel Legacy is a 2017–18 relaunch of a line of American comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is concurrent with All-New, All-Different Marvel and Marvel NOW! 2.0. Jeff Parker (born October 25, 1966) is an American comic book writer and artist. He is a member of Helioscope Studio (formerly Periscope Studio, also known as Mercury Studio). Early life Parker, a son of a grocery store owner, grew up in Burlington, North Carolina.
