Takeru Satō
is a Japanese actor. He is best known for his leading role as Ryotaro Nogami in the ''Kamen Rider Den-O'' franchise, and as Himura Kenshin in the live-action ''Rurouni Kenshin'' film and its sequels. Satoh was born on 21 March 1989 in Iwatsuki-ku, Saitama. Satoh briefly worked as a child actor for three or four years, appearing in commercials and magazine photo shoots. After he entered higher grades in elementary school, he decided not to continue as a child actor due to a "shy personality". He graduated from Koshigaya Kita High School, Saitama in 2007. In the same year, while shooting ''Kamen Rider Den-O'', he was diagnosed with primary pneumothorax after complaining about pain in the left chest, and has since recovered. Career 2006–2008: Early works Satoh was scouted by an agent from Amuse, Inc. in Harajuku in Tokyo when he was in senior high school, and made his debut in 2006. Tokyo International Film Festival
The is a film festival established in 1985. The event was held biennially from 1985 to 1991 and annually thereafter. According to the FIAPF, it is one of Asia's competitive film festivals and the second largest film festival in Asia behind the Shanghai International Film Festival, as well as the only Japanese festival accredited by the FIAPF. The awards handed out during the festival have changed throughout its existence, but the Tokyo Grand Prix, handed to the best film, has stayed as the top award. Other awards that have been given regularly include the Special Jury Award and awards for best actor, best actress and best director. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Riko Miyagi. The manga was serialized in Shueisha's ''Margaret'' magazine. The manga is licensed and published in Chinese in Taiwan by Tong Li Publishing. The manga has been adapted into a live-action Japanese television drama, which was broadcast on Fuji TV between January 13 and March 17, 2009. Media Manga ''Mei-chan no Shitsuji'' is written and illustrated by Riko Miyagi. The manga is serialised in Shueisha's ''Margaret'' magazine. The individual chapters have been collected into 20 ''tankōbon'' by Shueisha. The series ended on January 25, 2013, and was followed by a sequel called ''Mei-chan no Shitsuji DX'' in 2014.
