Tadeusz Słobodzianek
Tadeusz Słobodzianek (born 26 April 1955) is a Polish playwright, theatre director and critic. Life Słobodzianek was born on 26 April 1955 in Yeniseysk, Soviet Union. He graduated from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków with a degree in theatre studies. Between 1978 and 1981, he wrote theatre reviews under the alias Jan Koniecpolski.. First in student journals, and later in a popular weekly journal “Polityka.” He has worked as a literary manager, director, and dramaturge with various theatres in Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, Poznań, Gdańsk, Kalisz and Białystok. In 1991, he co-founded Teatr Wierszalin. In 2003, he founded Laboratorium Dramatu (Drama Laboratory) in Warsaw, Drama School as well as The Art of Dialogue Foundation, which mentored and supported many emerging playwrights, directors, and actors. Yeniseysk
Yeniseysk ( rus, Енисейск, p=jɪnʲɪˈsʲejsk) is a town in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located on the Yenisei River. Population: 20,000 (1970). History Yeniseysk was founded in 1619 as a stockaded town—the first town on the Yenisei River. It played an important role in Russian colonization of East Siberia in the 17th–18th centuries. Its location is due to the Siberian River Routes from the Urals, up the Ob, up the Ket River and over a portage to Yeniseysk and from there to the Yenisei basin. It became less important due to road and rail building further south. Its old town is included by the Russian government in the country's tentative World Heritage List. ''Newsweek Polska'' is a Polish language weekly news magazine published in Poland as the Polish edition of ''Newsweek''. History ''Newsweek Polska'' was established in 2001. The founder of the weekly is Tomasz Wróblewski. The magazine is owned by Axel Springer. It is based in Warsaw and is published weekly on Mondays. The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is a multi-arts center in Brooklyn, New York City. Royal National Theatre

European Theatre Convention
The European Theatre Convention (ETC) is a European theatre association founded in 1988. The ETC is funded partly by the Creative Europe programme of its strategic partner, the European Commission. It is based in Berlin. As a "network of public theatres in Europe", it has 63 members in 31 European countries (). The ETC organizes projects which promote European theatre as a "platform for dialogue, democracy and interaction", and offers the possibility of international networking for theatre professionals. Nike Award
The Nike Literary Award (, pronounced ) is a literary prize awarded each year for the best book of a single living author writing in Polish and published the previous year. It is widely considered the most important award for Polish literature. Established in 1997 and funded by '' Gazeta Wyborcza'', Poland's second largest daily paper, and the consulting company NICOM, it is conferred annually in October. It is open for nominees from all literary genres, including non-fiction essays and autobiographies. Each year, a nine-member jury selects the laureate in a three-stage process. Twenty official nominees are accepted in May, out of which seven finalists are declared in September. The final decision does not take place until the day of the award ceremony in October.
