TVR Tîrgu-Mureș
TVR Tîrgu-Mureș is one of the six regional branches of the Societatea Română de Televiziune (Romanian Public Television). It began broadcasting on 6 May 2008, in Târgu Mureș. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for Digitization, digitizing 625 lines, 625 line Analog television, analogue television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Digi Communications N.V., also known as DIGI Group, is a Romanian telecommunications holding company, which also has businesses in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Belgium. Televiziunea Română (), more commonly referred to as TVR , is the short name for Societatea Română de Televiziune ("Romanian Television Society"; SRTV), the Romanian public television. It operates nine channels: TVR 1, TVR 2, TVR 3, TVR Cultural, TVR Folclor, TVR Info, TVRi, TVR Moldova and TVR Sport along with six regional studios in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Timișoara, Craiova, and Târgu Mureș. Standard-definition television (SDTV; also standard definition or SD) is a television system that uses a resolution that is not considered to be either high or enhanced definition. ''Standard'' refers to offering a similar resolution to the analog broadcast systems used when it was introduced.
