TV5 Network Inc., commonly referred to as TV5, is a Mass media in the Philippines, Philippine Mass media, media company headquartered in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila. It primarily operates in radio and television broadcasting and manages several Subsidiary, subsidiaries and affiliates in various media-related ventures. TV5 is owned by MediaQuest Holdings, a subsidiary of PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company), managed through its Beneficial Trust Fund. This trust fund is responsible for the pension funds of PLDT employees. The company is led by Manuel V. Pangilinan. TV5 operates multiple media assets, including three television networks: TV5, One Sports, and RPTV; the national radio station 105.9 True FM; and the regional radio network, also called True FM. PBA Rush
PBA Rush is a 24/7 exclusive channel of Cignal, which has been currently airing games of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The channel is patterned after NBA TV and was launched on July 5, 2016. The 3-year partnership agreement between Cignal and the PBA was signed on July 17, 2016, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, 2 days after the opening of the 2016 PBA Governors' Cup. Aside from the live telecast of the PBA games (in English commentary), other programming included in PBA Rush are same-day replays of PBA games (in mostly Tagalog commentary), games from the PBA D-League, (also in mostly Tagalog commentary) and behind-the-scenes shows such as Kuwentong Gilas. It is jointly owned and operated by TV5 Network, Inc., and Nine Media Corporation, with Radio Philippines Network (RPN) serving as its free-to-air broadcaster.
