TS Entertainment
TS Entertainment (also known as TS ENTER ()) was a South Korean record label and entertainment agency founded in 2008 by Kim Tae‑song (). It was located at Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The company was responsible for managing Korean idol, idol groups such as Untouchable (South Korean band), Untouchable, Secret (South Korean band), Secret, B.A.P (South Korean band), B.A.P., Sonamoo, and TRCNG. Throughout the 2010s, TS Entertainment became known for multiple lawsuits from its artists and staff involving workplace abuse, extortion, and failure to pay company employees. The company quietly shut down in January 2021, with the rest of its artists' contracts expiring by 2022. History TS Entertainment was founded by Kim Tae-song in October 2008. ''Allkpop'' (stylized in all lowercase) is an American website which features Korean pop and gossip news. It is one of the most trafficked K-pop news sites, with over seven and half million readers per month. In its list of useful websites, ''The Korea Herald'' called it the "fastest news breaker" for K-pop. Controversies In 2010, Tablo of Korean hip-hop trio Epik High alleged that allkpop had been sharing pirated links to the group's '' Epilogue'' album, including "a leaked music video of 'Run' and illegal streaming of all our songs" on his personal Twitter account. Tablo has since removed the posts. In 2013, scandal broke out again when solo K-pop artist Ailee's private, nude pictures were leaked with the allkpop logo posted across blurred photos in their coverage. SBS M is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by SBS Medianet, a division of SBS Media Holdings. It features South Korean pop artists, international music, news, and a few reality and variety programs. It was launched in 2001 as the South Korean version of the MTV. ''Secret Time'' is the debut Korean extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Secret. The EP was released on April 1, 2010, and contains ten tracks. "Magic" was used as the promotional song for the album. The song debuted at number 2 on South Korea's Gaon Singles Chart and the album debuted at number 4 on the Gaon Album Chart on April 1. Promotion "Magic" was first used as a promotional track from the album. On March 29, 2010, a teaser video was released online. In the teaser, the girls were performing a dance track called "Break Time". The final music video premiered on April 1, 2010, along with ''Secret Time''s release. Music Network (acronym of the Mnet) is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by CJ ENM Entertainment Division. The CJ E&M Center Studio located in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul is the headquarters, broadcast and recording centre of many Mnet programs with a studio audience, namely the live weekly music show '' M Countdown''. TRCNG
TRCNG (; an acronym for Teen Rising Champion in a New Generation) was a South Korean boy band formed by TS Entertainment in 2017. They debuted with the EP ''New Generation'' on October 10, 2017. Originally a ten-piece group, Wooyeop and Taeseon left the group in November 2019 and filed suit against TS Entertainment for violations of child welfare legislation, alleging abuse, assault, and extortion. They, in turn, were sued by the parents of the remaining members for spreading false information. The group disbanded on March 28, 2022.
