TRT Türk
TRT Türk is the international TV channel of the TRT, which is broadcast to other countries. TRT Türk's task is to enhance the understanding of the possibilities Turkey and Turkic republics may possess or take advantage of in various fields through the programs aiming at the Caucasus and Central Asia. The task is also promoting the image of Turkish people in a multi-dimensional way. TRT Türk has been intended to become the Turkic World's common channel. Within this framework the channel is planning to schedule programs produced by other Turkic republics along with joint-productions. TRT Türk is broadcasting comprise education, culture, drama, entertainment, music programs and news with commercial breaks. 1080i
In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth. This format is used in the SMPTE 292M standard. Definition The number "1080" in 1080i refers to the number of horizontal lines that make up the vertical resolution of the display. TRT Avaz (formerly TRT Türk) is a channel broadcast by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation with focusing on Turkey and Balkans. It was launched in Turkey on 21 March 2009 and broadcasts throughout the Balkans, Turkic Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Caucasus. Programs are televised in Azeri, Turkmen, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Russian, Tatar and Uzbek with Turkish-language subtitles, and include documentaries, talk shows, culture and music programs as well as region-specific films and soap operas. Central Asia is a region of Asia consisting of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. TRT EBA TV is a Turkish world educational television network, owned by state broadcaster TRT. It was launched on 20 March 2020 as a test broadcast and was officially launched on 23 March 2020. TRT Kurdî
TRT Kurdî is the first national television station that broadcasts in the Kurdish dialect of Kurmanji and in Zazaki. On the channels sixth anniversary it changed its name from TRT 6 into TRT Kurdi. A 2018 survey of 393 Kurdish individuals from both southeastern and western regions of Turkey found that 59% did not trust the news reporting of TRT Kurdî. The study indicated that individuals who primarily identified as Kurdish were more likely to view the channel critically, particularly in regard to its news content, while those who identified primarily as Sunni Muslims tended to have a more favorable view of the channel.
