Tennessee Ornithological Society
The Tennessee Ornithological Society (TOS) is an independent non-profit educational, scientific, and conservation organization in Tennessee, United States, dedicated to the study and conservation of birds. It was formed in 1915 and has published a quarterly journal, ''The Migrant'', since 1930. The organization conducts statewide meetings and its local chapters have regular meetings and field trips. The TOS was started by a group of six amateur ornithologists who met at Faucon's French Restaurant in Nashville on October 7, 1915. A historical marker at the site commemorates the organization's founding. Annual activities of the organization include annual autumn hawk counts, spring and fall bird counts, winter raptor surveys, and annual Christmas bird counts. The Testament of Solomon is a pseudepigraphical composite text ascribed to King Solomon but not regarded as canonical scripture by Jews or Christian groups. It was written in the Greek language, based on precedents dating back to the early 1st millennium AD, but was likely not completed in any meaningful textual sense until sometime in the Middle Ages. In its most noteworthy recensions, the text describes how Solomon was enabled to build his temple by commanding demons by means of a magical ring that was entrusted to him by the archangel Michael. A Terminal Operating System, or TOS, is a key part of a supply chain and primarily aims to control the movement and storage of various types of cargo in and around a port or marine terminal. The systems also enables better use of assets, labour and equipment, plan workload, and receive up-to-date information. Terminal operating systems generally fall under one of two categories depending on supported cargo type, namely, containerized or non-containerized. Large container terminals typically require yard management functionality in a TOS, whereas bulk dry and liquid cargo terminals do not. The type of service (ToS) field is the second byte of the IPv4 IPv4 header, header. It has had various purposes over the years, and has been defined in different ways by five Request for Comments, RFCs. Tromsø Airport (; ) is an international airport located at Langnes in the city of Tromsø in Tromsø Municipality, Troms county, Norway. Situated on the western shore of the island of Tromsøya, it features a runway aligned 18/36. Owned and operated by the state-owned Avinor, Langnes handled 1,910,692 passengers, 43,219 aircraft movements and 2,758 tonnes of cargo in 2014. This makes Tromsø the fifth-busiest airport in the country and 11th busiest in the Nordic countries. The airport opened on 14 September 1964, replacing Tromsø Airport, Skattøra, a water aerodrome. The name derives from Tam o' Shanter, the eponymous hero of the 1790 Robert Burns poem. TOS-1 Buratino (, Heavy Flamethrower System) is a Soviet 220 mm 30-barrel (original system, Object 634 or TOS-1M) or 24-barrel (Object 634B or TOS-1A Solntsepyok) multiple rocket launcher capable of using thermobaric warheads, mounted on a T-72 / T-90 tank chassis. TOS-1 was designed to attack enemy fortified positions and lightly armored vehicles and transports, particularly in open terrain.
