Abraham Josue Toro (born December 20, 1996) is a Canadian professional baseball third baseman, second baseman and first baseman for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, and Oakland Athletics. Toro, Shizuoka
is an archaeological site in Suruga Ward in Shizuoka City, southwest of Tokyo, Japan. The site contains the ruins of a settlement which dates to the 1st century CE, in the late Yayoi period. Discovered in 1943, it was excavated from 1947 to 1948 and designated a Special Historic Site of Japan in 1952. Toro is also the name of the area surrounding it in the Japanese addressing system. Background Toro is notable as the first archaeological site excavated in Japan in which remains of 1st-century CE Yayoi-era wet-rice paddy fields were found. The site was discovered in 1943 during construction work on a military munitions plant in World War II, and was excavated in 1947 and 1948. In 1965 an excavation survey was conducted before the construction of Tōmei Expressway within the planned route. José David Toro Ruilova (24 June 1898 – 25 July 1977) was a Bolivian military officer and politician who served as the 35th president of Bolivia from 1936 to 1937. He previously served as minister of development and minister of government in 1930. In 1936, a a coup d'état in La Paz installed Toro as president of a government junta. He presided over an experimental period of in Bolivia that introduced moderate socialist reforms. The Ministry of Labor was established, a new labor code implemented, and the rights of women expanded. It was discovered on 17 July 1948, by American astronomer Carl Wirtanen at Lick Observatory on Mount Hamilton, California.
