TNA Against All Odds (2007)
The 2007 Against All Odds was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on February 11, 2007 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the third event under the Against All Odds chronology. Ten matches were contested at the event, including one on the pre-show. In the main event, Christian Cage defeated Kurt Angle to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. In other prominent matches, Sting defeated Abyss in a Prison Yard match, Chris Sabin defeated Jerry Lynn to retain the TNA X Division Championship and AJ Styles defeated Rhino in a Motor City Chain match. Kurt Angle
Kurt Steven Angle (born December 9, 1968) is an American retired professional wrestler and amateur wrestling, amateur wrestler. He first earned recognition for winning a Wrestling at the 1996 Summer Olympics – Men's freestyle 100 kg, gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Summer Olympics despite competing with a broken neck, and achieved wider fame for his tenures in WWE and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). David Penzer (born May 22, 1966) is an American professional wrestling ring announcer. He is best known for his work with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1993 to 2001, and Impact Wrestling from 2006 to 2010 and then from 2020 to 2023. Face (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy", "good-doer", or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans. They are portrayed as heroes relative to the heel wrestlers, who are analogous to villains. Traditionally, face characters wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. Such characters are also referred to as blue-eyes in British wrestling and ''técnicos'' in ''lucha libre''. A narrative thread, or plot thread (or, more ambiguously, a storyline), refers to particular elements and techniques of writing to center the story in the action or experience of characters rather than to relate a matter in a dry "all-knowing" sort of narration.
