Susan Scott Rae (born 2 June 1956)Jonathan Rhys-Evan"The Accent's on Success" ''Glasgow Herald'', 18 April 1984 is a Scottish newsreader and continuity announcer on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4 Extra. Rae was born and raised in Dundee, Scotland, and read English at Edinburgh University. She left the university before her finals, and began work with D. C. Thomson newspapers in Dundee, before taking up work on BBC Radio Aberdeen. After three years there, she left to work in London in the early 1980s as a continuity announcer and newsreader on BBC Radio 4. The response to her voice on Radio 4 at this time was negative; some listeners believed the BBC's commitment to accurate pronunciation was in decline. Later in the 1980s she moved to daytime television, co-presenting ''Open Air'', and continued with voiceover work when the show ended. Street Crime UK
''Street Crime UK'' is a reality television series focusing on law enforcement in various parts of the United Kingdom, as police go about their duties on the streets of Britain's towns and cities. The police officers featuring in episodes discussed work, responding to 999 calls, enforcing public order, raid premises allegedly being used for illegal purposes, pursuing and arresting various suspects, transporting them to the police station after they are arrested. The show was narrated by Susan Rae, who often updated the viewers as to whether the arrested were charged/tried/convicted etc. and sometimes given details of the sentences/penalties that were imposed on them for their lawbreaking, also updating on current events. ''Street Crime UK'' was originally shown on Bravo and was later repeated on Virgin 1 (which was later re-branded Channel One). The FBI Files
''The FBI Files'' is an American television docudrama series that originally ran from 1998 to 2006 on the Discovery Channel and produced by New Dominion Pictures. The show was cancelled in 2006. However, Court TV Mystery, Discovery, and its sister network, Investigation Discovery, aired re-runs until October 2012. Investigation Discovery only showed episodes from seasons 5,6, and 7. As of October 2012, the network now airs episodes from the earlier seasons (although not necessarily in chronological order), with updated information about the cases at the end of most episodes. Up to late September 2012, WE tv showed episodes from seasons 1-4, but the network had removed the episode introductions by Jim Kallstrom.
