Stuart Laing (actor)
Stuart Laing is a British actor. Career TV and Film Laing started his TV career with roles in Casualty (TV series), The Bill and Minder (TV series) in 1993. In 1994, Laing played a lead role in the two part BBC drama, Blood and Peaches. That same year, he appeared in his first feature film, 3 Steps to Heaven for Channel 4. Additionally, in 1995 Laing played the role of Lena Headey's Italian boyfriend in Devil's Advocate. In 1995, Laing played one of the leads in the TV drama ''Strike Force'', a show about RAF tornado pilots. In 1996, Laing played the part of another pilot in the World War II feature ''Gaston's War'', opposite Olivia Williams playing the character Harry. ''Casualty'' (stylised as ''CASUAL+Y'') is a British medical drama series that airs weekly on BBC One. Created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin, it was first broadcast in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 6 September 1986. The original producer was Geraint Morris. Having been broadcast weekly since 1986, ''Casualty'' is the longest-running primetime medical drama series in the world. Ray Winstone
Raymond Andrew Winstone (; born 19 February 1957) is an English television, stage and film actor with a career spanning five decades. Having worked with many prominent directors, including Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg, Winstone is perhaps best known for his "hard man" roles (usually delivered in his distinctive London accent). The first of these was the character Carlin in '' Scum'', the 1979 film remake of a BBC television play in which Winstone had originated the role, and which was not broadcast due to its violent nature. The same year he played ex-army soldier Kevin in the cult classic ''Quadrophenia''. Joe Orton
John Kingsley Orton (1 January 1933 – 9 August 1967), known by the pen name of Joe Orton, was an English playwright, author, and diarist. His public career, from 1964 until his death in 1967, was short but highly influential. During this brief period he shocked, outraged, and amused audiences with his scandalous black comedies. The adjective ''Ortonesque'' refers to work characterised by a similarly dark yet farcical cynicism. ''Vera'' is a British crime drama series based on the Vera Stanhope series of novels written by crime writer Ann Cleeves.
