Smithtown Central School District is a school district in New York which serves residents in the Smithtown communities of Smithtown, Nesconset, Kings Park, and Saint James. Parts of neighboring Smithtown communities Ronkonkoma, Lake Ronkonkoma, Hauppauge, and Stony Brook are also served. The Smithtown Central School District is the home of the Smithtown and Saint James LIRR stations. Covering an area of , SCSD serves approximately 10,000 students in eight elementary schools, three 6-8 middle schools, and two high schools. It is the largest school district on Long Island. Andrew Levy
Andrew L. Levy or Andy Levy (born 1966) is an American commentator and humorist. Early years Levy grew up in Long Island, New York. He attended Columbia University, where he was a member of the fraternity St. Anthony Hall and co-founded a newspaper, ''The Fed,'' with Neil Gorsuch and P. T. Waters. Jodi Hauptman
Jodi Anne Hauptman (born October 20, 1964) is an American art historian and curator. Hauptman is the Senior Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Museum of Modern Art. Career Hauptman graduated from the Smithtown Central School District in 1982. She then earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University in 1986, and later received a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in Art History from Yale University in 1995. John Daly (born June 10, 1985) is an American skeleton racer who has competed since 2001. He has been on the World Cup podium many times, at such tracks as Winterberg, Calgary, and St. Moritz. Career Prior to competing in skeleton, Daly was a BMX racer but stopped after breaking both wrists during a practice run. He also competed in track and field while in high school and college. Daly began competing in the sport of skeleton in 2001. From 2001 to 2010, he won gold in the Intercontinental Cup and America's Cup where he reset the Lake Placid track record. John Duffield Curtis (born March 9, 1948), is an American former professional baseball pitcher. Twice a first-round draft pick, Curtis played baseball at Clemson University and then pitched for several Major League Baseball (MLB) teams between 1970 and 1984.
