Skadovsk ( uk, Скадо́вськ, translit. ''Skadovs’k'', ; russian: Скадовск) is a port city on the Black Sea in the Kherson Oblast of southern Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Skadovsk Raion and hosts the administration of the Skadovsk urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Skadovsk Raion
Skadovsk Raion ( uk, Скадовський район) is one of the 5 administrative raions (a Raions of Ukraine, ''district'') of Kherson Oblast in southern Ukraine. Its administrative center is located in the city of Skadovsk. Population: On 18 July 2020, as part of the 2020 administrative reform of Ukraine, administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Kherson Oblast was reduced to five, and the area of Skadovsk Raion was significantly expanded.
