Sicklerville is an unincorporated community located within Winslow Township in Camden County, New Jersey, United States. It was founded in 1851 by John Sickler, who lived in the area when the present-day town was located within Gloucester Township. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08081. History In 1874, the Sicklerville Post Office was established. Paul H. Sickler (his descendants still live in Winslow Township) was appointed the first Postmaster. Today, the Post Office is located near the original location on Sicklerville Road. The post office also services contiguous addresses in portions of Gloucester Township and Washington Township. Sicklerville was founded as "Sickler Town". In 1886, there were only ten residences in Sicklerville. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. Shonn Greene
Shonn Greene (born August 21, 1985) is a former American football running back. He played college football for the University of Iowa, where in 2008, he was recognized as a unanimous All-American and also won the Doak Walker Award and the Jim Brown Trophy. He was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2009 NFL Draft. After four seasons with the Jets, Greene then played two more seasons for the Tennessee Titans. High Jump
The high jump is a track and field event in which competitors must jump unaided over a horizontal bar placed at measured heights without dislodging it. In its modern, most-practiced format, a bar is placed between two standards with a crash mat for landing. Since ancient times, competitors have introduced increasingly effective techniques to arrive at the current form, and the current universally preferred method is the Fosbury Flop, in which athletes run towards the bar and leap head first with their back to the bar. The discipline is, alongside the pole vault, one of two vertical clearance events in the Olympic athletics program. It is contested at the World Championships in Athletics and the World Athletics Indoor Championships, and is a common occurrence at track and field meets. Priscilla Frederick
Priscilla Eve Frederick (born 14 February 1989 in Queens, New York) is an American- Antiguan athlete who specialises in the high jump. She competed for the United States until 2012, when she switched to Antigua and Barbuda, the country of her father's birth. She was raised and resides in the Sicklerville section of Winslow Township, New Jersey. Frederick placed seventh in the US Olympic Trials. After beginning to compete internationally for Antigua and Barbuda, Frederick won a silver medal in high jump at the 2015 Pan American Games. She defended her medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima. In both Pan-American Games, she finished second behind Saint Lucian high jumper Levern Spencer. Frederick's personal bests for the high jump are 1.91 metres outdoors (Toronto 2015) and 1.90 metres indoors (Staten Island 2016). Both are national records. Robert Edward "Ed" Forchion Jr. (born July 23, 1964), also known as NJWeedman, is an American Rastafari cannabis rights and free speech activist, perennial candidate, actor, writer, and restaurateur. He is the founder of the Legalize Marijuana Party. A resident of New Jersey and California, he is a registered medical cannabis user. He has been arrested and convicted for some of his activities and has mounted various legal defenses and challenges to laws regarding cannabis. After his last arrest the state of New Jersey filed a motion on March 7, 2017, for pretrial detention to incarcerate Forchion until trial. Damiere Byrd (born January 27, 1993) is an American football wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Carolina Panthers in 2015.
