Shaun Baker
Shaun Baker is an English musician, DJ and record producer, currently based in Paderborn, Germany. Musical career Baker has been playing the worldwide club scene over 20 years. Together with his friend and partner Sebastian Wolter, he also produces music. This musical partnership has over the past few years given the dance scene songs such as "Xplode 2," which hit the number 1 position in every German dance chart at the same time. Other singles are "Push" (also a dance chart & sales hit) and "Bakerman", a co-op with the cult stars Laid Back from Denmark. Laid Back were so impressed with the new version of "Bakerman" they hooked Shaun Baker and Sebastian Wolter up with Lars von Trier, who produced the video clip for the original version of "Bakerman". Paderborn (; Westphalian: ''Patterbuorn'', also ''Paterboärn'') is a city in eastern North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, capital of the Paderborn district. Laid Back
Laid Back is a Danish electronic music duo group from Copenhagen, formed in 1979. The duo consists of John Guldberg (vocals, guitar, bass) and Tim Stahl (vocals, keyboards, drums, bass). They are best known for the hits " Sunshine Reggae" and "White Horse" from 1983 and "Bakerman" from 1989. Background and origins John Guldberg and Tim Stahl met in the mid-1970s, and they played together in a group called the Starbox Band. After a poorly received show supporting the Kinks, the band split up, but the duo continued working together. Karel Svoboda (composer)
Karel Svoboda (19 December 1938 – 28 January 2007) was a Czech composer of popular music. He wrote music for many TV series in the 1970s. Works Karel Svoboda was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia and began his career as a pop composer after abandoning medicine in his third year of university. He became a member of the rock band "Mefisto" in 1963 where he played piano. Later, he composed music for the ''Laterna Magica'' theatre in Prague and for many Czech singers. In 1969 he wrote ''Lady Carneval'' for Karel Gott, a major Czech pop star. Svoboda wrote a total of 80 songs for Gott. Svoboda composed TV scores for the German channel ZDF for over 30 years. He wrote the scores to many TV series in the 1970s that a whole generation of Europeans grew up with. The GfK Entertainment charts are the official music charts in Germany and are gathered and published by GfK Entertainment (formerly Media Control and Media Control GfK International), a subsidiary of GfK, on behalf of Bundesverband Musikindustrie. The Polish music charts are provided by ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (Polish: Związek Producentów Audio-Video). Albums charts In the 1970s and the 1980s, Polish music monthly ''Non Stop'' published a year-end list of the best selling albums in Poland. In the mid-1990s, two monthly sales lists were launched and published in music magazines.
