Sebastien Grainger
Sebastien Alexandre Grainger (born 11 April 1979) is a Canadian singer and musician, best known as drummer and singer of the alternative rock duo Death from Above and the singer and guitarist for his band Sebastien Grainger & the Mountains. He is part owner of Giant Studios in Toronto, Ontario with Jimmy Shaw of Metric. Solo career Sebastien signed with Saddle Creek Records in the US, Outside Music in Canada and JVC in Japan to release his debut solo album, entitled ''Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains'', which was released on 21 October 2008. It was recorded between Giant Studio in Toronto and Mountain City Studio in Montreal. Grainger wrote and performed nearly all the parts on the record with the exception of a few songs that were recorded as a full band. He is currently playing shows across North America. Mississauga ( ), historically known as Toronto Township, is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario. Tangiers (band)
Tangiers was a Canadian indie rock band founded in 2003 and based in Toronto, Ontario. History In 2003, Tangiers included drummer Marco Moniz, Josh Reichmann (vocals/guitars) and, fresh from The Deadly Snakes, James Sayce (vocals/bass) and guitarist Yuri Didrichsons. In March 2003, the released their debut album ''Hot New Spirit'', with the songs "Keep the Living Bodies Warm", "Return to the Ship", and "Ca Va Cool" pushing it to the top of the campus and community radio charts. In 2009, ''Maclean's'' magazine named ''Hot New Spirit'' one of the top-ten Canadian albums of the decade. The El Mocambo is a live music and entertainment venue in Toronto, Ontario. Albert Hammond Jr. (''born'' Hammond III; born April 9, 1980) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is best known for his role as rhythm and lead guitarist, as well as occasional keyboard player and backing vocalist, in the American rock band The Strokes.
