Scarlett Nicholls
Scarlett Mary Nicholls is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale''. She is played by Kelsey-Beth Crossley and made her first appearance on 2 March 2007. It was announced on 8 May 2011 that Crossley was leaving the show. She made her final appearance on 28 July 2011. On 21 October 2012, it was announced Crossley would make a brief return to ''Emmerdale''. Storylines Background Scarlett is the only daughter of millionaire Tom King (Ken Farrington) and Carrie Nicholls (Linda Lusardi). Carrie was a nurse taking care of Tom's wife, Mary, as she was dying of cancer and their relationship continued after Mary's death, resulting in Carrie getting pregnant. After Scarlett was born, Tom ended the relationship but offered to provide financial support for Carrie secretly. Kathleen Beedles
Kathleen Beedles is a British producer, who has worked on a total of over 2500 episodes of various British soap operas to date. She grew up in Rogart and now resides in London. British soaps From 1999 to 2001, Beedles worked as a story associate on '' Coronation Street'' before moving onto "Emmerdale" as Story Editor. In 2005, Beedles was appointed Series Producer of British television soap opera ''Emmerdale'', taking over from Steve Frost. She had worked as a producer and series editor for the ITV soap before taking on the role. During her time on the soap, she was responsible for many major storylines, including the Kings River showhome explosion storyline, and the Tom King kidnap plot. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the British soap opera ''Emmerdale'' in 2011, by order of first appearance. All characters were introduced by the soap's executive producer, Steve Frost. Flynn Buchanan Flynn Buchanan, played by Ryan Prescott, made his first on-screen appearance on 31 January 2011. Flynn was introduced as a love interest for Aaron Livesy ( Danny Miller). The character and casting was announced in January 2011. Prescott landed the role of Flynn shortly after graduating from a performing arts degree. He began filming his first scenes in late November 2010.
