Nala is a fictional character in Disney's ''The Lion King'' film franchise. Introduced in the animated film ''The Lion King'' (1994), Nala subsequently appears as a less prominent character in the film's sequels '' The Lion King II: Simba's Pride'' (1998) and '' The Lion King 1½'' (2004), and serves as a recurring character in '' The Lion Guard'' (2015–2019). Kevin Dodd Schon (born February 7, 1958) is an American voice actor who is known for his voice-over work in video games, movies and television shows. He is best known as a voice double for Nathan Lane for animated media, most notably as Timon in the '' Timon & Pumbaa'' television series and in various other Disney related projects. MeerKAT, originally the Karoo Array Telescope, is a radio telescope consisting of 64 antennas in the Meerkat National Park, in the Northern Cape of South Africa.
