Santiago González (tennis)
Santiago González Torre (; born 24 February 1983) is a Mexican professional tennis player. His career-high ATP ranking is World No. 155 in singles, achieved in May 2006, and World No. 22 in doubles, achieved in March 2022. He has won 18 ATP doubles titles. In 2017, he reached the French Open final in doubles along with his partner Donald Young. Additionally, he has reached the finals of three other Grand Slam tournaments in the Mixed category: the 2013 French Open and the 2014 and 2015 US Open. González represents Mexico at the Davis Cup competition; currently his record is 22–16. Tennis career 2009-2010: Major singles debut, Top 100 & First ATP title in doubles González qualified at the 2009 Wimbledon Championships to make his Grand Slam debut. 2019 French Open
The 2019 French Open was a Grand Slam (tennis), major tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was held at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, from 26 May to 9 June, comprising singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. Junior and wheelchair tournaments were also scheduled. Rafael Nadal was the two-time defending champion in men's singles and won his record 12th French Open singles title. Simona Halep was the defending champion in women's singles, but lost in the quarterfinals; the title was won by Ashleigh Barty. It was the 123rd edition of the French Open and the second Grand Slam event of 2019. The main singles draws included 16 qualifiers for men and 12 for women out of 128 players in each draw. 2021 US Open – Men's Doubles
Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury defeated the defending champion Bruno Soares and his partner Jamie Murray in the final, 3–6, 6–2, 6–2 to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2021 US Open. It was the second major title for Ram and Salisbury as a team, following the 2020 Australian Open. Ram and Salisbury saved four match points en route to the title, in the quarterfinals against Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell. Soares and Mate Pavić were the defending champions, but did not play together. Pavić partnered Nikola Mektić, but lost in the first round to Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow. Salisbury also won the mixed doubles title partnering Desirae Krawczyk, becoming the first man to win both the men's doubles and mixed doubles titles at the US Open in the same year since Bob Bryan in 2010. The Central American and Caribbean Games (CAC or CACGs) are a multi-sport regional championship event, held quadrennial (once every four years), typically in the middle (even) year between Summer Olympics. The games are for countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and the South American Caribbean countries of Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. The games are overseen by Centro Caribe Sports (''formerly CACSO'').
