Sanremo Music Festival 1987
The Sanremo Music Festival 1987 was the 37th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, between 4 and 7 February 1987 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show was presented by Pippo Baudo, while Carlo Massarini hosted the segments from the Sanremo PalaRock, where a number of foreign guests performed. The winners of the Big Artists section were the trio consisting Gianni Morandi, Enrico Ruggeri and Umberto Tozzi with the song "Si può dare di più". Pippo Baudo
Giuseppe Vittorio Raimondo Baudo (born 7 June 1936), known as Pippo Baudo, is one of the most famous Italian television presenters, with a career spanning six decades. He is often nicknamed "Superpippo" (referencing the Italian name of Super Goof). Baudo has also been the artistic director and president of the Teatro Stabile di Catania. Career Baudo was born in Militello in Val di Catania. While studying law at the University of Catania, he became involved in entertainment as an actor and host. He also learned to play the piano. He graduated with a degree in law, despite his interest in entertainment. At the end of the 1950s, he became a singer and pianist for Orchestra Moonlight. Gianfranco Tommaso Fasano (born 30 June 1961), known professionally as Franco Fasano, is an Italian singer-songwriter and composer. Flavia Fortunato (born 16 March 1964) is an Italian singer, actress and television presenter. Maurizio Fabrizio
Maurizio Fabrizio (born 16 March 1952) is an Italian composer, conductor, arranger, producer, musician and singer-songwriter. Life and career Born in Milan, after studying at the conservatory in 1969 Fabrizio became a member of the La Scala orchestra as a percussionist under the direction of Claudio Abbado. Rossana Casale (born July 21, 1959) is an Italian singer. Biography Casale was born in New York City to an Italian-American father, photographer Giac Casale, and an Italian mother. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Venice, Italy, then to Milan, where Casale grew up. Her music career began in the late 1970s as backing vocalist for a band called Albero Motore. Gaetano Cristiano Vincenzo Rossi (born 8 September 1949), best known as Christian, is an Italian singer, mainly successful in the first half of the 1980s. Background Born in Palermo, the son of a policeman and a housewife, at young age Rossi was a football player for Palermo and Mantova F.C., but had to quit for a cardiac arrhythmia. Luca Barbarossa (born 15 April 1961, Rome) is an Italian singer-songwriter who has released 12 albums since 1981, and is known for his participation in the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest. Early career In 1980, Barbarossa won the Castrocaro Music Festival, where he was spotted by a producer for the Fonit-Cetra record company, who signed him to a recording contract. As the Castrocaro winner, he was eligible to compete in the 1981 San Remo Festival, where he finished fourth with the self-penned song "Roma spogliata". His first self-titled album was released in the same year, and he toured as support act to Riccardo Cocciante. Ricchi e Poveri (; "The Rich and The Poor") is an Italian pop group formed in Genoa in 1967, originally consisting of Angela Brambati, Angelo Sotgiu, Franco Gatti and Marina Occhiena.
