Saguaro High School
Saguaro High School is a former A+ and Blue Ribbon Schools Program certified high school in the Scottsdale Unified School District in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Saguaro was opened in 1966. Sports Saguaro's varsity football program has won an Arizona state championship thirteen times (1995, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021). The varsity baseball program is three time state champions (1992, 2010 and 2011). The varsity boys' basketball program has won three state championships (1990, 1996, and 2004). The varsity girls' basketball program won one state title, in 2013. The SHS varsity golf programs have combined for four state titles (boys' golf in 1977 and 1990; girls' golf in 1997 and 1998). Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders were a professional American football team that played in Oakland from its founding in 1960 to 1981 and again from 1995 to 2019 before relocating to the Las Vegas metropolitan area where they now play as the Las Vegas Raiders. Between 1982 and 1994, the team played in Los Angeles as the Los Angeles Raiders. Christian Kirk
Christian Davon Kirk (born November 18, 1996) is an American football wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M Aggies football, Texas A&M, and was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. High school career Kirk attended Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he played high school football. He played both wide receiver and running back for the Sabercats. Jason Kershner
Jason Ashley Kershner (born December 19, 1976) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played three seasons at the major league level, playing for the San Diego Padres and the Toronto Blue Jays. Kershner won three games in the major leagues (all in 2003) and picked up his only career save on September 11, 2002. In an extra inning game against the Indians, Kershner pitched the 11th inning, allowing 1 run but nailing down a 6-5 Blue Jays victory. He was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in 12th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft. Kershner played his first professional season with their Rookie league Martinsville Phillies in 1995. He spent the 2007 season playing for the Cincinnati Reds Triple-A club, the Louisville Bats.
