Safiya Nygaard (born July 16, 1992) is an American YouTuber. She gained prominence through her work with BuzzFeed, creating the series ''LadyLike''. Safiya Hussaini Tungar Tudu (born 1967) is a Nigerian woman condemned to death for adultery in 2002. She gave birth to a child as a single woman in Sokoto, a Nigerian state under Sharia law. She was sentenced to be stoned, but was acquitted of all charges in March 2002 after a retrial. Background Hussaini was sentenced to death by stoning in October 2001 for allegedly having a child with a married neighbour. She had the child after her divorce. Hussaini claimed that she was the victim of repeated rape by a man, whom the Sharia court found not guilty due to lack of evidence. During the trial, Hussaini had no legal representation and was not informed of her legal rights. The Sokoto court dismissed her testimony and convicted her on 12 October 2001. Eddie Slick is the manager of the wrestler King Crusher, and provided him with mutative steroids to win a match. However, Firestorm eventually defeated him while exposing the steroid operation in the process. Sharon "Safiya" Henderson-Holmes (December 30, 1950 – April 8, 2001) was an American poet from New York. She published two collections of poetry, had her work included in multiple anthologies, and received the William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America. Biography Susan Dennard was born on February 25, 1984, in the state of Virginia, but primarily grew up in Dalton, Georgia. She originally planned to major in English at University of Georgia, but was "sidetracked by science" and obtained a bachelor's degrees in fisheries and statistics instead, and then received her master's in marine biology at the Great Lakes Institute for environmental research in Windsor, Ontario, with the intention of solving the problem of overfishing.
