STB (Channel)
STB ( uk, СТБ) is a Ukrainian commercial television network. Today, the coverage area of the network is 85% of Ukraine's territory. It is broadcast in all Oblast centers and all Ukrainian cities with a population greater than 50,000. It occupies the 1st place in the list of the leading TV networks in Ukraine. The channel is a part of Starlight Media broadcasting group, created by Viktor Pinchuk. History The founders of the networks were Ukrainian and American companies: International Media Center, Shachar Enterprises, Inc., Internews Netouron K. The STB was launched on 2 June 1997. Since 1997, STB was controlled by Volodymyr Sivkovych, a Ukrainian businessman and politician. He was the one, who decided to create the TV channel. Tetyana Olehivna Ramus ( uk, Тетяна Олегівна Рамус; born on 17 July 1980 in Kiev, Soviet Union) is an artist, designer, TV and radio journalist, public activist, producer, publisher, author, and presenter. Osman Pashayev ( crh, Osman Paşayev, uk, Осман Пашаєв, russian: Осман Пашаев, born 23 January 1977 in Angren) is Crimean Tatar journalist and producer. Biography Pashayev was born in Uzbekistan in Crimean Tatar family. His grandparents were deported from Crimea by the NKVD along with the entire Crimean Tatar nation in 1944. Since 1980 he lived in the Ukrainian city of Henichesk and since 1989 moved to Crimea. Pashayev studied in Kyiv National Economic University. Myroslava Gongadze
Myroslava Gongadze ( uk, Миросла́ва Володи́мирівна Ґонґа́дзе, born 19 June 1972) is a Ukrainian journalist currently living in the United States. Her husband, journalist Georgiy Gongadze, was abducted and murdered in 2000. Georgiy Gongadze
Georgiy Ruslanovych Gongadze ka, გიორგი რუსლანის ძე ღონღაძე, Giorgi Ruslanis dze Ghonghadze (21 May 1969 – 17 September 2000) was a Georgian-Ukrainian journalist and film director who was kidnapped and murdered in 2000 near Kyiv.
