SOKO Kitzbühel
''SOKO Kitzbühel '' is an Austrian television series produced by ORF in collaboration with the German network ZDF. It is the third spin-off of the German crime series ''SOKO 5113'' (''SOKO München'' since 2015), launched in 1978. The show, which debuted on 15 November 2001 in Austria and 7 January 2003 in Germany, is set in the Tyrolean tourist centre of Kitzbühel. The last episode aired on 14 December 2021. "SOKO" is an abbreviation of the German word ''Sonderkommission'', which means "special investigative team". A follow-up series, '' SOKO Linz'', began filming in May 2021. Synopsis The story is centered on police detectives Karin Kofler (until 2014), replaced by Nina Pokorny, and Lukas Roither. The team solves complicated murder cases in and around Kitzbühel, many of which involve members of the rich and powerful, common in the resort town. Kitzbühel (, also: ; ) is a medieval town situated in the Kitzbühel Alps along the river Kitzbüheler Ache in Tyrol, Austria, about east of the state capital Innsbruck and is the administrative centre of the Kitzbühel district (). ''SOKO Linz'' is an Austrian police procedural television series that premiered on 1 February 2022. A collaboration between ORF and the German broadcaster ZDF, it is the eleventh offshoot of ''SOKO München'', launched in 1978. "SOKO" is an abbreviation of the German word ''Sonderkommission'', which means "special investigative team". The show, which replaces the first Austrian incarnation of the ''SOKO'' franchise, ''SOKO Kitzbühel'', revolves around a police team that investigates murders and other serious crimes in the Austria-Germany-Czechia tripoint, centred on the city of Linz. SOKO 5113
Soko ( sh-Cyrl, Соко) was a Yugoslav aircraft manufacturer based in Mostar, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company was responsible for the production of many military aircraft for the Yugoslav Air Force. SOKO was created in 1950 by the relocation of the aircraft factory section of Ikarus company from Zemun, SR Serbia. Officially founded as "Preduzeće Soko" (Soko Corporation, ''soko'' meaning "falcon" in Serbian), soon after it was renamed "Soko Vazduhoplovna Industrija, RO Vazduhoplovstvo" (Soko Aeronautical Industry, RO Aeronautics). Its first director was Yugoslav People's Army colonel Ivan Sert. The following directors of the company were engineers Miljenko Pješčić and Tomislav Mirić. Southern Bavarian or South Bavarian, is a cluster of Upper German dialects of the Bavarian group. They are primarily spoken in Tyrol (i.e. the Austrian federal state of Tyrol and the Italian province of South Tyrol), in Carinthia and in the western parts of Upper Styria.
