Søren Andersen
Søren Andersen (born 31 January 1970) is a Danish former professional association football, footballer. He played as a striker (association football), striker, and most prominently represented English club Bristol City F.C., Bristol City, Spanish club Rayo Vallecano, as well as several Danish clubs. He won the 1992 Danish Cup with Aarhus Gymnastik Forening, AGF Aarhus. Andersen played 12 games for the Denmark national football team, Denmark national team, though he did not score, and represented Denmark at the 1992 Summer Olympics and 1996 UEFA European Football Championship, 1996 European Championship tournaments. Career Andersen began his career as a junior with Silkeborg IF, joining Aarhus Gymnastik Forening, AGF Aarhus in August 1989. He made his debut for the Denmark national under-21 football team, Danish under-21 national team in April 1990.

Aarhus (, , ; officially spelled Århus from 1948 until 1 January 2011) is the second-largest city in Denmark and the seat of Aarhus municipality, Aarhus Municipality.
