Sømosen
Sømosen is a bog straddling the border between Ballerup (95%) and Herlev (5%) municipalities in the northwestern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. It formed some time between 8,000 and 13,000 BC. The water from the bog drains into Harrestrup Å Harrestrup Å is an approximately 20 km long stream through the western suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. It rises at Harrestrup Mose in Vestskoven woodland on the border between Albertslund and Ballerup and flows through Damhus Lake and seve ... to the south through Sømose Å. It was protected in 1951. The protected area was increased from 20 to 23 hectares in 2006. Harrestrup Å is an approximately 20 km long stream through the western suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. Ballerup Kommune () is a municipality ( da, kommune) in '' Region Hovedstaden'' on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. Herlev Kommune is a suburban municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark.
