Sébastien Thill
Sébastien Thill (born 29 December 1993) is a Luxembourgish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Polish club Stal Rzeszów and the Luxembourg national team. Club career Luxembourg From 2009 to 2012, Thill played for Pétange of the Luxembourg National Division, scoring nine goals in 46 league appearances. In 2013, he moved to fellow National Division side Progrès Niederkorn. In 2015, Thill made his debut in European club competition as Niederkorn fell 3–0 on aggregate to Shamrock Rovers in a two-leg series during the first qualifying round of the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League. On 4 July 2017, Thill scored the winning goal in an unexpected 2–1 aggregate win against Scottish side Rangers for his current club, Progrès Niederkorn, in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round. Serge Thill (born 29 January 1969) is a Luxembourgish former footballer who played for the Luxembourg national team. Club career Thill began his senior career in his native Luxembourg in 1991, playing for Union Luxembourg. In 1993, Thill signed for Belgian club RSC Athusien. Vincent Thill (born 4 February 2000) is a Luxembourgish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Zira in the Azerbaijan Premier League and Luxembourg national team. He is the younger brother of fellow Luxembourg internationals Sébastien Thill and Olivier Thill. He was included in The Guardian's "Next Generation 2017". Olivier Thill (born 17 December 1996) is a Luxembourgish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ukrainian club LNZ Cherkasy. The UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying Group C was one of the nine groups to decide which teams would qualify for the UEFA Euro 2016 finals tournament. The 2023–24 I liga (also known as Fortuna I liga due to sponsorship reasons) was the 76th season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 16th season of the Polish I liga under its current title. The league was operated by the PZPN. The regular season was being played as a round-robin tournament.
