Sébastien Dewaest (born 27 May 1991) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as centre-back for Challenger Pro League club Francs Borains. Club career Dewaest comes from youth academy of Lille. In January 2011 he signed a professional contract with Roeselare. In his debut season he came in five games. In his second season, he played 22 league games in which he scored a goal. During 2012–13 season he scored four goals in 31 matches. In April 2013 Charleroi signed Dewaest. He signed a two-year contract with an option in two additional years. In August 2024, Dewaest signed a one-year contract with Challenger Pro League club Francs Borains. Poperinge
Poperinge (; , ; ) is a City status in Belgium, city and Municipalities of Belgium, municipality located in the Belgium, Belgian province of West Flanders, Flemish Region, and has a history going back to medieval times. The municipality comprises the town of Poperinge proper and surrounding villages. The area is famous for its hops and lace. The town Poperinge is situated about 13 km (8 miles) to the west of Ypres (Ieper). The region is famous for growing hops and furnishes 80% of Belgian production. 2012–13 Belgian Second Division
The 2012–13 season of the Belgian Second Division (also known as Belgacom League for sponsorship reasons) began on 22 August 2012 and ended in April 2013. The season was won by Oostende, who were thus promoted to the Belgian Pro League. Mouscron-Péruwelz, Westerlo and WS Woluwe played the second division final round but lost this to Cercle Brugge, resulting in no other team gaining promotion.
