Sébastien Bisaillon
Sébastien Bisaillon (born December 8, 1986) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 2 games in the National Hockey League with the Edmonton Oilers during the 2006–07 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 2007 to 2022, was mainly spent in the French Ligue Magnus. Playing career Bisaillon was born in Mont-Laurier, Quebec. As a youth, he played in the 2000 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Sélects-du-Nord minor ice hockey team. Bisaillon was signed as a free agent by the Edmonton Oilers on September 27, 2006. Due to a rash of injuries, Bisaillon was recalled on an emergency basis from his Junior team Val-d'Or Foreurs and played his first game for the Oilers on March 20, 2007, against the Vancouver Canucks. Defenceman
Defence or defense (in American English) in ice hockey is a player position that is primarily responsible for preventing the opposing team from Goal (ice hockey), scoring. They are often referred to as defencemen, D, D-men or blueliners (the latter a reference to the blue line in ice hockey which represents the boundary of the offensive zone; defencemen generally position themselves along the line to keep the puck in the zone). Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the Puck (sports)#In ice hockey, puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the Goal (ice hockey), goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL)
The Hamilton Bulldogs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They played in Hamilton, Ontario, at FirstOntario Centre (formerly known as Copps Coliseum), nicknamed 'The Dog Pound'. They were the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens as two separate franchises over 19 seasons of continuous participation in the AHL.
