Sámuel Major
Sámuel Major (born 9 January 2002) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays as a right-back or midfielder for Nemzeti Bajnokság II club Kozármisleny. Club career Major began his career in his hometown with Debrecen, joining the club's youth academy in 2007. After a decade, he moved to Austria to join Red Bull Salzburg, initially playing for the club's youth teams. He made his debut for Salzburg's affiliate club, Liefering, in the Austrian second tier in June 2020 while also competing in the UEFA Youth League, where he helped his team reach the semi-finals. The following month, he scored his first goal in the second division against Vorwärts Steyr on the final matchday of the 2019–20 season. He became a regular at Liefering the next season, scoring in the opening match against Austria Wien II. On 5 January 2022, Major signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Admira Wacker. UEFA Youth League
The UEFA Youth League is an annual club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) since 2013. In its current format, it is contested by the under-19 teams of the clubs competing in the UEFA Champions League league phase, plus the domestic youth champions of the best-ranked national associations. The semi-finals and final matches have been traditionally played at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon, Switzerland, although for the 2022–23 edition, they were moved to the Stade de Genève due to increased interest in the tournament from the supporters of the participating clubs. The 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-17 Euro 2019) was the 18th edition of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship (37th edition if the Under-16 era is also included), the annual international youth association football, football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-17 national teams of Europe.
