Szigetvár District
Szigetvár () is a district in western part of Baranya County, Hungary. ''Szigetvár'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is located. The district lies in the Southern Transdanubia Statistical Region. Geography Szigetvár District borders with Kaposvár District ''(Somogy County)'' to the north, Hegyhát District and Szentlőrinc District to the east, Sellye District to the south, Barcs District ''(Somogy County)'' to the west. Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. There are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Districts of the 19 counties are numbered by Arabic numerals and named after the district seat, while districts of Budapest are numbered by Roman numerals and named after the historical towns and neighbourhoods. Boldogasszonyfa
Boldogasszonyfa is a village in Baranya county, Hungary. Location It is on the border of Baranya and Somogy counties, next to Szentlászló. The nearest city is Szigetvár, which is 10 km from the village. History Boldogasszonyfa has been inhabited since the Stone Age. Its name is first mentioned in 1344 in a diploma. In 1746 came Slavs and Germans. The village was owned by the Igmándy family. In 1950 the government of Hungary annexed the village from Somogy to Baranya. In 2001 the population's consistency was 2,7% German and 6% Gypsy; the others were Hungarians and others. Ibafa () is a small village with a population of 250 in Baranya county, Hungary. The village is in the valleys of Zselic. The mayor is László Benes. Ibafa became known in the 20th century, because the local priest liked pipes. He was a strange ecclesiastical person, always seen with a pipe in his mouth, playing cards with pals in the pub. A journalist stumbled on him, and wrote a tongue-twister verse beginning with the line: :"Az ibafai papnak fapipája van, ezért az ibafai papi pipa papi fapipa" meaning :"The priest of Ibafa has a wooden pipe, so the priestly pipe of Ibafa is a priestly wooden pipe".
