Szczepan Pieniążek
Szczepan Aleksander Pieniążek (1913–2008) was a Polish pomologist, professor of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and a vice-president of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He was a pioneer in Polish horticulture, which was in need of reform after World War II. Having studied in the United States, Pieniążek brought to Poland innovative solutions to various fruit-growing problems. In his scientific research, he generally focused on pomology, plant physiology, and conservation of orchards. He published over one hundred publications, including an academic handbook "Horticulture". Daniel Szczepan
Daniel Szczepan (born 5 June 1995) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a forward for I liga club Ruch Chorzów. Career Szczepan began his senior career with Górnik Pszów in 2011, where he made his debut in 2012 against Naprzód Rydułtowy, a team located in the town of his birth, a game in which Szczepan also scored. In total Szczepan scored 15 goals for Górnik. On 5 February 2015, Szczepan joined GKS Jastrzębie. After starting well with Jastrzębie, Szczepan knocked out an opposition player in a friendly for the 2015–16 season against Unia Racibórz. In total Szczepan scored just under one goal every two games for GKS. After a successful time with Jastrzębie, Szczepan joined Śląsk Wrocław in 2018. Szczepan Twardoch
Szczepan Lech Twardoch (; born 23 December 1979 in Knurów) is a Polish- Silesian writer. He has written a series of best-selling novels such as ''Morphine'' (2012), ''Drach'' (2014), ''The King'' (2016), ''The Kingdom'' (2018), and ''Pokora'' (2020). ''The King'' has been turned into a TV series, first broadcast on the Canal+ network. He has won numerous literary prizes among them the Brücke Berlin-Preis and Le Prix du Livre Européen. Szczepan Ścibior
Szczepan Ścibior (13 December 1903 in Uniejów, Poland – 7 August 1952 in Warsaw, Poland) was a Polish soldier, pilot, and patriot. It has not been established what he was doing early years of his life. Most probably, he fought in the Polish September Campaign and later escaped to Great Britain. In 1940, Ścibior became a member of the No. 305 Polish Bomber Squadron () He was pilot of a Vickers Wellington. In 1941, his bomber crashed during a mission near Charleroi in Belgium. He managed to make his way to Brussels, where after hiding for nine days, he was caught by the Germans and sent to a POW camp. Liberated by the British in 1945, Ścibior at first went to Great Britain, but in March 1946 decided to return to his native country. There, he took command of 7th Air Bomb Regiment in Łęczyca and in August 1947 he became commander of the famous Polish Air Force Academy in Dęblin. Szczepan Viktor Witkowski (20 December 1898 – 29 May 1937) was a Polish soldier and skier. Szczepan Bradło
Szczepan Bradło (died 1960) was a Polish farmer who lived in Lubcza, a village in Tarnów Voivodeship, with his wife Klara (d. 1953), daughter Franciszka and sons: Antoni, Eugeniusz and Tadeusz. Together, they saved thirteen Jews during the Holocaust in German-occupied Poland. In 1986, the Bradło family were awarded the honorary title Righteous Among the Nations. Szczepan and his wife were recognized posthumously. During World War II, Bradło lived on a three-hectare farm. According to the Yad Vashem deposition, two Jews from Slotowa who were forced to leave their hideout at the home of a peasant named Ryba asked Bradło for shelter for themselves and their families. Their families consisted of six Bochners, three Reichs, Izrael Hamel, Abraham Einspruch, and Bochna and Beniamin Dereszewicz. Szczepan Hołowczyc
Szczepan Hołowczyc '' de armis'' Pierzchała (19 August 1741–27 August 1823) was a Roman Catholic archbishop of Warsaw from 1818 until his death in 1823 and a senator of Congress Poland. He previously served as bishop of Sandomierz from 1819 to 1820. Hołowczyc was the son of Basil and Mary Hołowczyc (). He studied at a Jesuit seminary in Vilnius from 1771; after his ordination in 1772, he continued his studies in Rome. He was then appointed parish priest at Kutno in 1773. In 1774, he departed for Rome to study canon law, eventually visiting Germany. After returning to Poland in 1776, he was appointed as secretary for Michał Jerzy Poniatowski, who appointed him to the rectory in Osiek.
