Swing (Savage Song)
"Swing" is the lead single from New Zealand hip hop artist Savage's debut solo album, '' Moonshine''. It was released in January 2005, and reached number one on the New Zealand singles chart. In 2008, it was released in the United States with a remix featuring American rapper Soulja Boy, which reached number 45 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The remix featured on Savage's second studio album and US debut, '' Savage Island'', alongside a second remix featuring American rapper Pitbull. In 2013, the song was remixed by Australian producer Joel Fletcher. The remix, credited as "Joel Fletcher & Savage", reached number two in Australia, and was certified quadruple platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association. Demetrius C. Savelio (born 28 June 1981), better known by his stage name Savage, is a New Zealand Hip hop music, hip hop recording artist, record producer and member of hip hop group the Deceptikonz. Savage was the first New Zealand hip hop artist to have a commercial single achieve platinum certification status in the United States. "Not Many" is a hip hop single by New Zealand rapper Scribe, taken from his debut album, '' The Crusader''. It was released as a double A-side with " Stand Up". Background and recording "Not Many" was written by Scribe and P-Money. Chip Matthews performed bass and P-Money produced the track. It was recorded by Chris Macro and mixed by Chris Chetland and P-Money at Kog Transmissions. According to P-Money, "Not Many" was recorded and mixed in less than six hours. Remix A remix was released, titled "Not Many – The Remix!", featuring Savage and Con Psy. The remix went to number two on the New Zealand Singles Chart for two weeks, then slipped out of the chart.
