Sven Ole Fagernæs
Sven Ole Fagernæs (born 12 March 1945) is a Norwegian jurist and civil servant who was Attorney General of Norway from 1993 to 2015. Sven Ole Fagernæs was born in Oslo and got a cand.jur. degree from the University of Oslo in 1972. He worked for the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police from 1973 to 1976 and in that period also shortly worked as a junior judge at the Indre Sogn magistrate. In 1976 he started working for the Office of the Attorney General of Norway. He became assistant Attorney General of Norway in 1987. He was the Attorney General of Norway from 1993 to 2015, except for a period from 1998 to 2001 when he was acting permanent under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Justice. He was also acting governor of Svalbard in 2005. Morten Ruud (born 25 February 1950) is a Norwegian civil servant. Biography Morton Ruud graduated in 1974 from the University of Oslo, and attended the Norwegian National Defence College in 1985. Civil service From 1976, he has spent most of his career in the Ministry of Justice and the Police, except for the years 1977 to 1978, when he was a deputy judge, and the years 1998 to 2001 when he was the Governor of Svalbard. In the Ministry of Justice, he was promoted to deputy under-secretary of state in 1990, special adviser on 1 January 1997, and then permanent under-secretary of state on 22 August 1997. He left as permanent under-secretary of state in 2012. Per Ottar Sefland (born 27 January 1949) is a previous Governor of Svalbard, Governor of Svalbard. He served from 1 October 2005 to 16 September 2009. Sefland was born in Evje, and his family later moved to Larvik. He married in 1972, and has two daughters. He is a lawyer by education (cand.jur., University of Oslo, 1975), and is a career police, law enforcement civil service, civil servant.
