Suzana Lazović
Suzana Lazović (born 28 January 1992) is a retired Montenegrin handballer that played for ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica and the Montenegro women's national handball team. She was also a Serbia and Montenegro national junior judo champion. Handball and coaching career Lazović was part of the Montenegrin teams that won silver at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and gold at the 2012 Women's EHF European Championship. She was also on the Budućnost team that won the 2012 EHF Women's Champions League and 2015 EHF Women's Champions League. The team were also runners up in the 2013-2014 season. Lazović won the award for best defender in the 2013 Champions League. Podgorica
Podgorica ( cnr-Cyrl, Подгорица; ) is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Montenegro, largest city of Montenegro. The city is just north of Lake Skadar and close to coastal destinations on the Adriatic Sea. Bojana Popović
Bojana Popović née Petrović, (born 20 November 1979) is a handball coach and a retired Montenegrin handballer. She is considered by many to be the best female handball player of the 2000's, despite not being given any official recognition. After winning the Women's EHF Champions League with Budućnost and a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games with the Montenegro national team, Bojana Popović decided to retire from handball. However, in June 2016 Popović announced she would come out of retirement and make herself available for selection by the Montenegro national handball team to compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The 2024 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland from 28 November to 15 December 2024. This was the first tournament to feature 24 teams.
