Zutphen
Zutphen () is a city and municipality located in the province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It lies some northeast of Arnhem, on the eastern bank of the river IJssel at the point where it is joined by the Berkel. First mentioned in the 11th century, the place-name appears to mean "south fen" ( in modern Dutch). In 2005, the municipality of Zutphen was merged with the municipality of Warnsveld, retaining its name. In 2021, the municipality had a population of . Dudley Sutphin
Dudley Vanness Sutphin (October 25, 1875 – May 18, 1926) was a prominent resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, a well-known attorney and judge, a French Legion of Honor medal winner, and an outstanding amateur tennis player. Education & career Sutphin graduated from the Franklin School in Cincinnati and went on to Yale University where he was a member of the Freshman Crew team (which rowed on the River Thames in England against Harvard and Columbia1). He also was a member of the tennis team and Delta Kappa Epsilon. After spending the summer of 1897 abroad with fellow Cincinnatian and Yale graduate Charles B. DeCamp, Sutphin entered the University of Cincinnati College of Law from which he graduated in 1900. While there he was a member of Phi Delta Phi. Sutphin Boulevard is a major street in the New York City borough of Queens. Its northern end is at Hillside Avenue in Jamaica and its southern end is Rockaway Boulevard on the border of South Jamaica and Springfield Gardens.
