Susan Rogers (pilot)
Susan Rogers (born August 3, 1956) is an American professor, sound engineer, and record producer best known for being Prince's staff engineer during his commercial peak (1983-1987), including on albums like '' Purple Rain'', '' Around the World in a Day'', ''Parade'', '' Sign o' the Times'', and '' The Black Album''. During this time, Rogers laid the foundations for Prince's now-famous vault by beginning the process of collecting and cataloguing all his studio and live recordings. She has also worked as a sound engineer and record producer for other musical artists such as Barenaked Ladies (producing the 1998 album ''Stunt''), David Byrne, Robben Ford, Jeff Black, Rusted Root, Tricky, Michael Penn, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Tevin Campbell. Tricky (musician)
Adrian Nicholas Matthews Thaws (born 27 January 1968), better known by his stage name Tricky, is an English music artist, record producer, vocalist and rapper. Born and raised in Bristol, UK, Bristol, in southwest England, he began his career as an early member of the band Massive Attack, alongside Robert Del Naja, Daddy G, Grant Marshall and Andrew Vowles. Through his work with Massive Attack and other artists, Tricky became a major figure in the Bristol underground scene, which gave rise to multiple internationally recognized artists and the music genre of trip hop. Paisley Park is a 65,000 square foot estate in Chanhassen, Minnesota, United States, once owned by American musician Prince. It was opened to the public as a museum in October 2016. History Construction of the $10 million complex began in January 1986, and officially opened on September 11, 1987. Designed by architecture firm BOTO Design Inc., of Santa Monica, California, the main designers were architect Bret Thoeny and acoustician Marshall Long. Graham William Nash (born 2 February 1942) is a British and American musician, singer and songwriter. He is known for his light tenor voice and for his contributions as a member of the Hollies and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Crosby, Stills & Nash. Ruby Records is an American record label, founded predominantly as a rock music label subsidiary of Slash Records. The original version of the label released seven albums in 1981 and 1982. Ruby was distributed through the same independent distributors that handled its corporate parent, Slash. When Warner Bros. Records bought Slash, they took over distribution of Ruby's three most popular albums (The Gun Club's '' Fire of Love'', The Misfits' '' Walk Among Us'', The Dream Syndicate's ''The Days of Wine and Roses'') and deleted the others (which included releases by the Flesh Eaters, Blurt and Lydia Lunch). An audio tape recorder, also known as a tape deck, tape player or tape machine or simply a tape recorder, is a sound recording and reproduction device that records and plays back sounds usually using magnetic tape for storage.
