Survivor Series (2014)
The 2014 Survivor Series was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was the 28th annual Survivor Series and took place on November 23, 2014, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The event aired via pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming, marking the first Survivor Series to be livestreamed on the WWE Network, which had been launched in February. The event was notable for featuring the WWE debut appearance of former WCW wrestler Sting (wrestler), Sting; it was also the first Survivor Series since Survivor Series (2001), 2001 not to feature a world championship match. Eight matches were contested at the event, including two on the Kickoff pre-show. Survivor Series Elimination Match
The Survivor Series match is a professional wrestling tag team elimination match held in WWE. The match typically sees two teams pitted against each other and members of the teams are eliminated one-by-one until one entire team is eliminated. Members of the winning team are deemed the "survivors", and in some cases, there may only be one survivor. Although the matches typically see four or five people per team, there have been as many as 10 on a team, and as few as one on a team in a pre-stipulated handicap situation. The match is typically held at WWE's annual Survivor Series pay-per-view and livestreaming event with only the 1998, 2002, 2022, 2023, and 2024 events not including the namesake match. Miroslav Petrov Barnyashev (, ; born December 25, 1985) is a Bulgarian professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw (WWE brand), Raw brand under the ring name Rusev.
