''Supreme Chaos'' is the sixth studio album by American Christian metal band War of Ages, released through Facedown Records July 22, 2014. War of Ages worked with Joshua Barber on the production of the album. Reception Signaling in a four star review by ''HM Magazine'', Reid Olson responds, "The guitar riffs rip, the drumming drives and altogether, Supreme Chaos causes barely controlled headbanging. War Of Ages
War of Ages (sometimes abbreviated WoA; formerly known as Point Zero) is an American Christian metal band formed in Erie, Pennsylvania, in 2002. The group consists of vocalist Leroy Hamp, lead guitarist Steve Brown, rhythm guitarist Jack Daniels and bassist Elisha Mullins. They are currently signed to Facedown Records and have released ten studio albums. Their most recent studio album, ''Dominion'', was released on September 15, 2023. History War of Ages began in 2002, originally as Point Zero. The band recorded their debut EP, ''Unite Us All''. Shortly after this release, the band switched names to War of Ages and signed with Strike First Records. The band connected with the label via their friends in xDISCIPLEx A.D., who were also from Erie, Pennsylvania. Metalcore
Metalcore is a broadly defined fusion genre combining elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk, originating in the 1990s United States and becoming popular in the 2000s. Metalcore typically has aggressive verses and melodic choruses, combined with Breakdown (music), breakdowns – which are slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining traits are low-tuned, percussive guitar riffs, double bass drumming, and polished production. Cross Rhythms is a Christian media organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It operates an FM and online radio station, produces radio shows sent internationally, and its website has resources about contemporary Christian music. Will Putney
Will Putney (born May 29, 1983) is an American record producer and musician based in New Jersey. He is the guitarist and co-founder of deathcore band Fit for an Autopsy, as well as the guitarist of metalcore supergroup End, and hardcore punk supergroup Better Lovers. Early life Putney grew up in Sayreville, New Jersey. He began playing guitar as a teenager and formed his first band when he was 15. He studied biomedical engineering at the Stevens Institute of Technology.
