U.S. Route 60 (US 60) is an east–west United States Highway within Arizona. The highway runs for from a junction with Interstate 10 in Arizona, Interstate 10 near Quartzsite, AZ, Quartzsite to the New Mexico state line near Springerville, AZ, Springerville. As it crosses the state, US 60 overlaps at various points: Interstate 17, I-17, Interstate 10 in Arizona, I-10, Arizona State Route 77, SR 77, Arizona State Route 260, SR 260, U.S. Route 191 in Arizona, US 191, and U.S. Route 180 in Arizona, US 180. Hope, Arizona
Hope is a small unincorporated community in the deserts of La Paz County, Arizona, United States. Hope was founded as a rail town called Johannesberg on the Arizona and California Railroad in 1909. The community was revitalized by the construction of what are now State Routes 60 and 72 in the 1930s, and it declined after the construction of Interstate 10, which bypassed the area. Hope is the site of a noted road sign claiming that travellers are "beyond Hope". Arizona State Route 77
State Route 77 (SR 77) is a long state highway in Arizona that traverses much of the state's length, stretching from its southern terminus at a junction with I-10 in Tucson to its northern terminus with BIA Route 6 at the Navajo Nation boundary just north of I-40. Between Tucson and the Navajo Nation, SR 77 passes through Oro Valley, Oracle, Mammoth, Winkelman, Globe, Show Low, Snowflake and Holbrook, as well as passing through the Fort Apache Indian Reservation and a tiny corner of the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation. Interstate 17 (I-17) is a north–south Interstate Highway located entirely within the US state of Arizona.
