Superchick (film)
''Superchick'' is a 1973 American action comedy exploitation film directed by Ed Forsyth and starring Joyce Jillson, Louis Quinn, Thomas Reardon, Tony Young, and Timothy Wayne Brown. The film was released by Crown International Pictures in September 1973. The film has the typical themes of a martial arts film. A female martial artist, trained in karate, has to stop an aircraft hijacking. Plot Tara B. True, played by Joyce Jillson, enjoys her jet set lifestyle, living different "lives" as she flies across the continent. Marilyn Jacobs Tenser (6 May 1931 – December 2020) was an American film producer known for her work on independent films of the 1970s through the early 2000s. Life and career Jacobs Tenser was the daughter of Crown International Pictures founder, Newton P. Jacobs, and she continued to work for the company as of 2018. She was married to Mark Tenser until his death in 2018. She died after a short illness in California in December 2020, at the age of 89. Rick Cassidy (born Richard Edward Ciezniak Jr., July 22, 1943 – December 23, 2013) was an American pornographic actor, model and bodybuilder. He appeared in both straight and gay porn films, using the name Jim Cassidy for the latter, during the early 1970s. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Cassidy spent two years in the Navy before moving to New York City where he modeled for physique photographer Jim French.
