Summit University, Offa is a privately owned university founded in 2015 and located in Offa, Nigeria. It is one of the few private Universities located in Kwara, North central Nigeria. The University is owned and established by the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, a Muslim organization established for the purpose of educational development of Muslims and Muslim society in Nigeria. The institution was established together with nine others private universities in Nigeria in 2015. Abiodun Musa Aibinu (born 4 January 1973) is a Nigerian Professor of Mechatronics from the Federal University Of Technology Minna. He is currently the Vice Chancellor of Summit University Offa Early life and education Abiodun Musa Aibinu was born in Lagos, Nigeria but he is a native of Ibadan, Oyo State. He earned his National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1995 rom The Polytechnic of Ibadan. He bagged his Bachelor of Science degree from Obafemi Awolowo University. He received his Master of Science in Engineering at Blekinge Tekniska Hogskola in 2006. He specializes in mechanics, robotics, and automation engineering. TETFUND
Tertiary Education Trust Fund, abbreviated as TETFUND, is a scheme established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2011 to disburse, manage, and monitor education tax to government-owned tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The TETFUND scheme was formed as a product of the Education Tax Act of 1993. This Act repeals the Education Tax Act Cap. E4, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and Education Tax Fund Act No. 17, 2003 and establishes the Tertiary Education Trust Fund charged with the responsibility for imposing, managing and disbursing the tax to public tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Offa, Nigeria
Offa is a city in the Kwara State of Nigeria, with a population of about 120,100 inhabitants. The town is noted for its weaving and dyeing trade, using vegetable dyes made from locally grown indigo and other plants. Offa is well known for cultivation of sweet potatoes and maize which also formed part of the favourite staple foods of the indigenes in the town. Cattle, goats and sheep are also raised in the environs. The main religions practised in the town are Islam, Christianity and traditional religions.
