Sumaiya Siddiqi
Sumaiya Siddiqi (born 30 November 1988) is a Pakistani former cricketer who played as a right-arm medium bowler. She appeared in 19 One Day Internationals and 15 Twenty20 Internationals for Pakistan between 2007 and 2015. She played domestic cricket for Hyderabad, Sindh, Higher Education Commission, Saif Sports Saga, Omar Associates and State Bank of Pakistan. Cricket was one of the 36 sports at 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea from 20 September to 3 October 2014. Both Men's and Women's tournaments were held in the event. Top Asian associate members and full members took part at the 2014 Asian Games. The matches were played under Twenty20 format. In the men's event, Sri Lanka won the gold medal by defeating Afghanistan by 68 runs. Bangladesh won the bronze medal by defeating Hong Kong. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. England Women's Cricket Team
The England women's cricket team represents England and Wales in international women's cricket. Since 1998, they have been governed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), having been previously governed by the Women's Cricket Association. England is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council, with Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status. They are currently captained by Heather Knight and coached by Jon Lewis. They played in the first ever Women's Test match in 1934, against Australia, which they won by 9 wickets. The two teams now compete regularly for The Women's Ashes. They played in the first Women's Cricket World Cup in 1973, winning the tournament on home soil, and have gone on to win the World Cup three more times, in 1993, 2009 and 2017.
