Sulejman Rebac
Sulejman "Sula" Rebac (29 March 1929 – 17 November 2006) was a Bosnian football player and manager. Club career Rebac started playing football at FK Velež Mostar in 1947. In 1954, he moved to HNK Hajduk Split where he stayed for several seasons. He also played one season for FK Sarajevo. In total, he played more than 1000 games, scoring 620 goals. He is considered to be one of the most celebrated football players in history of Velež and Bosnia and Herzegovina. International career In 1956, Rebac made one appearance for the Croatia national team against Indonesia, in which he scored two goals. Managerial career After retirement, he began his coaching career. He started in 1963 as a coach of Velež Mostar. Sulejman Pasha Mosque
The Old Mosque () or Sulejman Pasha mosque () was the founding mosque of the Albanian capital Tirana. The city developed around the mosque, which was founded by the Ottoman Albanian Pasha Sulejman Bargjini along with a hammam and a bakery. In the mid 20th century, all of it was razed to make place for the Communist-era Unknown Soldier statue. History Built in 1614, it was the oldest mosque of the city of Tirana and was one of the oldest mosques in Albania. The Ottoman general and ethnic Albanian, Sulejman Bargjini had fought for the Ottomans against the Safavids in Persia (Iran). Sulejman Pasha Tomb
The Sulejman Pasha Tomb () was the tomb of the Ottoman general of Albanian origin named Sulejman Bargjini. The tomb was ruined in November 1944 together with the Sulejman Pasha Mosque, and subsequently destroyed by the communist government. The monument of the " Unknown Soldier" () was built later upon their former location. It stood next to the Sylejman Pasha Mosque and is not to be confused with the Kapllan Pasha Tomb which was in the same neighborhood graveyard and still exists today. Sulejman Zalla (1892–1966) was an Albanian teacher, patriot and activist of the Rilindja Kombëtare of the early 20th century. He was the founder of the first modern Albanian school in the County of Durrës. Biography Originally from the city of Krujë, where he was born in 1892, Sulejman Zalla pursued elementary studies in his home city and later pursued a degree in the ''Shkolla Normale'' of Shkodër in order to become an Albanian teacher. On 4 March 1913, in Ishëm, Zalla opened the first school in the County of Durrës (which at that time included the cities of Tirana, Krujë, Durrës and Kavajë). Sulejman Vokshi (1815 – 1890), also known as Sul Vokshi, was an Albanian military commander and a leader of the League of Prizren. As a member of the central committee of the league, particularly as the head of the finances commission, Vokshi was also an important leader of the organization's military branch and an officer of its military staff. Life Sulejman Vokshi was born in Gjakova to a Patriotic Albanian family from Voksh in Kosovo. His family the Vokshi tribe descend from the Thaçi tribe according to Robert Elsie. Sulejman Ugljanin (; sr-cyrl, Сулејман Угљанин; born 20 November 1953) is a Serbian politician. An ethnic Bosniak, he has led the Party of Democratic Action of Sandžak since its establishment in 1990. Ugljanin was previously the president of the Bosniak National Council and a deputy in the National Assembly. Sulejman Tihić (26 November 1951 – 25 September 2014) was a Bosnian politician who served as the 4th List of Bosniak members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2002 to 2006. Sulejman Starova (born 12 December 1955) is an Albanian football coach and retired player. Managerial career As a manager, he has been in charge of his previous club Partizani Tirana as well as KF Tirana, Besa Kavajë and Teuta Durrës. Sulejman Smajić (born 13 August 1984) is a Bosnian retired professional footballer and sporting director of First League of FBiH club NK Metalleghe-BSI. As a player, he also played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team and the Bosnia and Herzegovina full national team.
