Sulejman Tihić
Sulejman Tihić (26 November 1951 – 25 September 2014) was a Bosnian politician who served as the 4th List of Bosniak members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2002 to 2006. He also served as the second List of chairpersons of the Party of Democratic Action, president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) from 2001 until his death in 2014. From 2007 until his death, Tihić served as member of the national House of Peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina, House of Peoples. Sulejman Kupusović
Sulejman Kupusović (7 April 1951 – 15 August 2014) was a Bosnian theater director. Also, he directed some television films and series. In 1974, Kupusović received a diploma from the Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Zagreb, as a director of theater, film and television. He later studied philosophy and comparative literature at the University of Zagreb. He directed in theaters across the former Yugoslavia, as well as the first Bosnian opera, '' Hasanaginica'', which premiered in Sarajevo on 18 March 2000. In addition to theater performances, he has directed several TV films, dramas and sitcoms. He directed the award-winning 2011 theater play '' Krokodil Lacoste'' written by Zlatko Topčić, in Chamber Theater 55. Kupusović died aged 63 in the Bosnian capital city after a long illness. Sulejman Delvina, also known as ''Sylejman Fehmi'' (5 October 1871 – 1 August 1932), was an Albanian politician, who served as prime minister from 30 January March to 14 November 1920. Life and career Early life Sulejman Delvina was born on 5 October 1871 in the city of the same name, Delvinë, then Ottoman Empire. His father Selim bey came from a family of high status in the area which is evidenced by the honorific title ''Bey'' that Sulejman himself, his father Selim and his brother Namik Delvina held. Sulejman Pačariz
Hafiz Sulejman Pačariz or Sulejman Paçarizi (1900–1945) was an Islamic cleric of Albanian origin and a commander of a Muslim militia detachment from the village of Hisardžik ( Prijepolje, in modern-day Serbia) during the Second World War. In 1943, when the Germans took control of Sandžak, Pačariz was appointed as the commander of the SS Polizei-Selbstschutz-Regiment Sandschak. The forces under his command were commonly referred to as ''Pačarizovci'' (meaning "those belonging to Pačariz"). He was known for allegedly leading his forces while riding a black horse. Sulejman Pasha Mosque
The Old Mosque () or Sulejman Pasha mosque () was the founding mosque of the Albanian capital Tirana. The city developed around the mosque, which was founded by the Ottoman Albanian Pasha Sulejman Bargjini along with a hammam and a bakery. In the mid 20th century, all of it was razed to make place for the Communist-era Unknown Soldier statue. History Built in 1614, it was the oldest mosque of the city of Tirana and was one of the oldest mosques in Albania. The Ottoman general and ethnic Albanian, Sulejman Bargjini had fought for the Ottomans against the Safavids in Persia (Iran). Sulejman Haxhi Mema (born 17 November 1955) is an Albanian former football player and manager of KF Tirana, Tirana Youth. He has also been head of refereeing at the Football Association of Albania. Sulejman Starova (born 12 December 1955) is an Albanian football coach and retired player. Managerial career As a manager, he has been in charge of his previous club Partizani Tirana as well as KF Tirana, Besa Kavajë and Teuta Durrës. He has also been technical director of Partizani, Teuta and FK Kukësi. On 10 February 2014 he was named as the manager of FK Kukësi following the departure of Naci Şensoy. Sulejman Bargjini
Sulejman Pasha Bargjini (also known in , ) was an ethnic Albanian general, nobleman and Governor of the Ottoman Empire. He was originally from Bargjin, but he settled in the village of Mullet (present-day Albania) and probably served as a Janissary, he was given the title Pasha. He had fought for the Ottomans against the Safavids in Persia. After that he had built a mosque (the Sylejman Pasha Mosque), a bakery and a hammam (Islamic sauna). He founded the settlement of Tirana, now the capital of Albania, in 1614 as an oriental-style town of those times. According to some local legends, he named the town he founded after Tehran, the capital of Persia (nowadays Iran). Sulejman Vokshi
Sulejman Vokshi (1815 – 1890), also known as Sul Vokshi, was an Albanian military commander and a leader of the League of Prizren. As a member of the central committee of the league, particularly as the head of the finances commission, Vokshi was also an important leader of the organization's military branch and an officer of its military staff. Life Sulejman Vokshi was born in Gjakova to a Patriotic Albanian family from Voksh in Kosovo. His family the Vokshi tribe descend from the Thaçi tribe according to Robert Elsie.
