Sugizo
, born and better known by his stage name Sugizo, is a Japanese musician, songwriter, composer and record producer. He is best known as the lead guitarist and violinist of the Rock music, rock band Luna Sea since 1989. Sugizo started his solo career in 1997 and has since collaborated with a variety of different artists. He formed the Psychedelic music, psychedelic jam band Shag in 2002, the rock duo The Flare in 2004, and the electronica duo S.T.K (Sensual Technology Kooks) in 2005. In 2007 he became a member of the international trance music, trance/world music act Juno Reactor, and of the Japanese rock supergroup Skin (Japanese band), S.K.I.N. Sugizo officially joined the rock band X Japan in 2009, and became a member of the supergroup The Last Rockstars in 2022. Juno Reactor is a multi-national musical and performing group, primarily based in Brighton, UK. Known for their cinematic fusion of electronic, global influences, and orchestral symphonic approach, collaborating with composer Don Davis (composer), Don Davis and composing for the musical score of ''The Matrix Series, The Matrix (Reloaded and Revolutions)''. Central to the project is Ben Watkins and his collaborations with a constantly changing ensemble of musicians from across the world. Tomoe Shinohara
is a Japanese singer, actress, fashion designer, producer and artist. She is notable for her flamboyant fashion sense and bubbly (sometimes goofballish) personality, as well as her distinctive squealing speaking voice. She is also a close friend of singer Eiko Matsumoto. Career In October 1996, Shinohara began as a regular hostess on the FujiTV music variety show "LOVE LOVE Aishiteru". In addition to her co-hostess duties she had her own segments called "PuriPuriPretty". In these segments she interviewed such international celebrities as Tim Burton and Enrique Iglesias. In the West, Tomoe Shinohara is perhaps best known in the anime world for contributing the single "Ultra Relax" as the second opening theme song for the series ''Kodomo no Omocha'', though this single is a small footnote to a larger body of musical work. Redrum (band)
Redrum (often stylized as REDЯUM) is a Japanese indie rock band who formed in 1996 with the decisive goal of becoming a band similar to Portishead for Japan. The members of the band are Yumi (vocals), Tsuyoshi (guitar) and Kazi (drums). The role of bassist officially changed two times and was helmed primarily by Soto who joined the band early on and stayed until his departure in December 2004. Their catalogue of works consists of only a few proper albums, several mini albums and maxi singles. Some of their releases were available exclusively through mail order or at their shows and have since become out of print. In April 2006 the band announced that they would be going on an indefinite hiatus after they finished their 10th anniversary tour which ended in June. Kazi stressed that this was not a break-up and that all band members vowed to return in the future. Miki Nakatani
is a Japanese actress and singer who began her professional career as a member of the girl group Sakurakko Club. Nakatani focused on acting after her departure from the band, making her debut on the popular television drama '' Under the Same Roof''. She relaunched her music career under the tutelage of producer Ryuichi Sakamoto in 1996, releasing three albums: '' Shokumotsu Rensa'' (1996), ''Cure'' (1997) and ''Shiseikatsu'' (1999). Her best-known songs include "Mind Circus" and "Suna no Kajitsu", which peaked at number ten on the ''Oricon'' charts. Miu Sakamoto
is a Japanese pop singer. She is the daughter of musicians Ryuichi Sakamoto and Akiko Yano. Biography Miu Sakamoto was born to musician parents, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Akiko Yano, in 1980. She grew up listening to Yellow Magic Orchestra and Kraftwerk. She has three half-siblings, her brother Fuuta, along with an older sister and a younger brother from her father's previous marriages. Her grandfather Kazuki Sakamoto is an editor. In 1990, when Sakamoto was 9 years old, her family immigrated to New York, United States, where she lived until she graduated from high school. Because of her time in the US, she is bilingual in Japanese and English. Her name, "Miu", comes from the English word "mutant", given to her by her father. While Sakamoto currently lives in Tokyo, she frequently travels back and forth between Japan and New York City, to visit her mother in Manhattan.
